Woodgrain Opera Walnut Slab Replacement Kitchen Door

    Woodgrain Opera Walnut Slab

Choose the Woodgrain Opera Walnut Slab replacement kitchen door when you want a made-to-measure door with a distinct finish, accurate sizing and a polished fitted look.

Opera Walnut gives this door its own visual character, helping it stand apart from plainer replacement door options. The woodgrain finish adds natural-looking texture and warmth without the upkeep of solid timber. It is a strong choice for a modern kitchen refresh because the simple face keeps the layout calm and lets the finish do the visual work.

The made-to-measure format lets you update existing units and keep the overall room plan, while still achieving a much fresher appearance. The result is a replacement kitchen door that feels tailored to the room, rather than a generic off-the-shelf front.

Matching drawer fronts and coordinating panels can be used to carry the same look across the rest of the kitchen. The Woodgrain Opera Walnut Slab is suited to both single-room makeovers and more complete cabinet-front replacements where the aim is to improve the kitchen without starting again from scratch.

The Woodgrain Opera Walnut Slab is a made-to-measure replacement kitchen door with Slab styling and a Opera Walnut woodgrain finish. It is designed for updating existing cabinets while keeping the kitchen layout in place.

    Specification

    Why choose Slab doors?

Slab doors are the most minimal option in the collection. They suit handle-led designs, modern layouts and replacement projects where a clean door face is the main priority. The Woodgrain Opera Walnut Slab keeps that design language while adding its own colour and finish, making it easier to build a kitchen scheme that feels intentional.

    For kitchen makeovers

Replacement doors are ideal when the cabinet carcasses are still in good condition. Ordering made-to-measure fronts allows you to change the style of the room without changing the full layout.

    Finishing the kitchen

The collection includes matching drawer fronts and coordinating components, with a wide range of colour options available across the wider door family.

    How To Measure Guide

    How to Measure your Doors

To ensure your replacement doors are made to the correct size, please follow these measuring guidelines carefully:

Measure from the reverse side of the door

    • Always measure the back of the cabinet door for the most accurate dimensions.

    Measure the height (A)

    • Place your tape measure straight along the full vertical edge of the door from top to bottom.
    • Ensure the tape follows the edge of the door and is not angled.

    Measure the width (B)

    • Measure across the full horizontal width of the door from edge to edge.
    • Keep the tape measure straight and level for an accurate reading.

    Record measurements in millimetres

    • Enter your sizes as Height x Width
    • Example: 715mm x 496mm

    Double-check all measurements

We recommend measuring each door individually, even if multiple doors appear to be the same size.

    Door & Drawer Size Guide

Kitchen cabinet doors and drawer fronts are manufactured to different size limits to ensure the best possible appearance and durability.

    Drawer Fronts

    • Minimum size: 100mm high × 140mm wide
    • Maximum size: 355mm high × 1196mm wide
    • On woodgrain finishes, the grain will run horizontally across the drawer front.

    Cabinet Doors

    • Minimum size: 241mm high × 140mm wide
    • Maximum size: 2530mm high × 1196mm wide
    • On woodgrain finishes, the grain will run vertically from top to bottom.

Where a door is less than 240mm wide, the chosen finish will be supplied as a plain panel rather than a routed door. This is because there is insufficient width to produce the door design while maintaining the required strength and appearance.

    Door Hinge Drilling

If you require hinge holes pre-drilled in your replacement doors, there are two options available in the dropdown menu:

    Standard Hinge Position

Our standard hinge hole position is 100mm from the top and bottom of the door (measured to the centre of each hinge hole).

    Custom Hinge Position

If your existing doors use different hinge positions, we can pre-drill to your custom measurements.

How to Measure Custom Hinge Positions

Measure from the top edge of the door to the centre of the top hinge hole, and from the bottom edge of the door to the centre of the bottom hinge hole.

Hinge holes are always drilled 225mm in from the hinged side of the door (left or right as selected), so you only need to provide the top and bottom measurements.

    How to Identify Hinge Side

The hinge side is the edge of the door that remains attached to the cabinet when the door is opened, as shown in the diagram above.

    • If the hinges are attached on the left-hand side, select Left Hinged
    • If the hinges are attached on the right-hand side, select Right Hinged

There is typically around 5mm of adjustment within most hinge fittings, so your measurements do not need to be perfectly exact to the millimetre.

If you are unsure, please contact our team on 0333 772 4515 or sales@doorsandfittings.co.uk and we will be happy to help.
